Hear from Our Past Student Groups
We are incredibly proud of the impactful experiences we create for academic groups. Here’s what one of our recent student partners shared about their journey with Farm Tours Ireland:
“
...perfect mix of educational visits and fun experiences...
In February 2025, the AgTour Student Club from Lakeland College embarked on a remarkable trip to explore agriculture in Ireland. We reached out to Farm Tours Ireland in November, and they crafted an itinerary that exceeded our expectations. The trip was a perfect mix of educational visits and fun experiences, covering everything from post-secondary institutions and equine centres to local dairies, breweries, distilleries, and fascinating museums and historical sites.
The itinerary was thoughtfully planned, striking a perfect balance between learning and enjoyment. We spent time in Dublin and journeyed all the way down to Cork, with the highlight for many students being the stop in Kilkenny.
Our accommodations were top-notch, and having a dedicated bus for our group of 27 made the experience even more comfortable. A special thank you to our amazing driver, Liam, and our expert guides, Colm, Aonghus, and Gerry, who ensured we were well taken care of every step of the way.
