See how sheep meat is prepared, displayed and sold to the general public in a small local town. Meet the butcher and discuss all aspects of quality and marketing of the product. Tour one of the many World Famous heritage sites in the area.
Visit more local sheep farms and later a modern sheep meat processing and export business. A full tour of the plant will take place and a in dept discussion with the management of the company will also ensue .
Travel to the midlands and stay on the banks of the river Shannon, Irelands largest river and famous for its leisure craft and fishing. There are many beautiful hotels and guesthouses in the area.
Take a trip to a highly productive low land sheep farm and study all aspects of sheep breeding, disease control, grassland management and marketing of lamb from the farm.
